Meet the Teacher
Willis Bouwman has 20+ years of playing experience with guitar, and has been writing music just about as long.
Through the years of playing, Willis has been involved in a number of bands and different musical projects. Most recently, he has joined a local rock band called Rebel Minds. Look to be seeing him and the band in action bringing some style to the stage with lead guitar in the very near future!
You might be asking, why the desire to teach guitar? Willis has a passion to see people grow individually and creatively through passing on the gift of music to others. And, it’s fun!
The education of music is thought highly of, so you can rest assure that Willis is not just in this for the money (though it is nice to help with the bills!). Willis truly loves to teach and make it fun and personalized for you and/or your child.
Willis has also been “giving back” with his musical abilities since 2004 by leading worship music at Threads Church in Portage, MI.
