Cancellations

  • If you need to cancel your lesson, please try to give at least a couple of days notice. I will try to schedule a make-up lesson for you but I cannot guarantee it will be possible. Please try to remember that you are not only paying for lessons but you're also paying for your rented time slot at my studio.
  • Any cancellations due to vacations should be submitted to me two weeks prior.
  • If I need to cancel because of illness, we will either reschedule or you will be credited the amount of the missed lesson.
  • We live in Michigan so the weather is very unpredictable. If local law enforcement suggests that people should stay at home due to inclement weather and you cannot attend your scheduled lesson, a make-up lesson will be scheduled.
  • No-shows, no excuses. A full lesson payment will be charged and will not be rescheduled


Payment

  • Payments are to be made on a monthly basis and students are asked to pay a month in advance. You may pay by cash, check, or pay online with the online payment option on this website.Online payment options are only available for regular scheduled students. Walk-ins or week to week scheduled students can only pay by cash or check. If paying in cash, please pay with exact amount.


Timeliness

  • Please arrive for your lesson about 5 minutes early than you are scheduled. We only have so much time to do the lesson so the more ready you are the faster we can get started. At some instances I will be wrapping up a lesson before you. Because of this I have created a waiting room area for you to get all of your things ready. Please wait patiently there until I have finished with the other student.
  • Late arrivals will only have the available time left of their scheduled lesson and will be charged for a full lesson.


Parents with children

  • If the student is a minor, it is required that the parent will stay in the waiting room (which is completely visible to the student) for the entirety of the lesson. This will not only create a safe place for you and your child, but for me as well.
