Meet the Teacher

Willis Bouwman has 19+ years of playing experience with guitar, and has been writing music just about as long.

Through the years of of playing, Willis has been involved in a number of bands and different musical projects. Most recently, he has decided to take a break from bands and work on some solo projects with praise and worship music.

You might be asking, why the desire to teach guitar? Willis has a passion to see people grow individually and creatively through passing on the gift of music to others. And, it's fun!

The education of music is thought highly of, so you can rest assure that Willis is not just in this for the money (though it is nice to help with the bills!). Willis truly loves to teach and make it fun and personalized for you and/or your child.   

Willis has also been "giving back" with his musical abilities since 2004 by leading worship music at Threads Church in Portage, MI.
